It is highly recommended that your H2O SOS water leak detection incorporate a shut-off valve so that your water will automatically be shut-off in the event that a water leak is detected.
Standard shut-off valves are available in 3/4, 1, 1 1/4, 1 1/2, and 2 inch sizes.
H2O SOS Shut-Off Valve Features:
- NPT threaded inlet and outlet
- Full port for superior water flow and pressure
- Manual valve activation / override function
- Lead-free validated
In the event that you select the "No Shut-Off Valve" option, your H2O SOS system will still have an audible leak alarm, and it can still be wired to your home security alarm system to alert you to the presence of a water leak; however, the water will not be automatically turned off when a leak is detected. This configuration is not recommended for most options.
